Description speakers

Armin Schwarzbach, MD, PhD
- international speaker and leader in clinical Lyme treatment and diagnostics. He is specialized in laboratory medicine and serves on several international boards. He will present on what practitioners need to know for Lyme treatment and testing in Europe.
Katharina Deutsch, MD
- Integrative physician with a long standing practice in the Netherlands. She has been working with patients with Lyme and tick-borne illness for many years. Her presentation will highlight combination therapy using antibiotics in combination with various herbal methods, supplements and diet.
Susan McCamish, CTN, CNC
Board Certified Traditional Naturopath with the AMNA and Herbalist, international speaker and formulator of the Beyond Balance herbal formulas being widely used in the United States, Canada and being introduced in Europe. She will present a holistic approach to Lyme and confections.
Paul van Meerendonk, MD
Integrative physician specialized in the treatment of CFIDS and Fibromyalgia. Since 1996 he treated more than 4000 patients with these illnesses. Many of these patients suffer from Lyme and coinfections. His presentation will discuss the combination of diagnostic methods in order to increase sensitivity and check efficacy of treatments. Also he will present new holistic treatment methods for Lyme
Albin Obiltschnig, MD, PhD
Orthopedic surgeon and infectiologist. He started out training as a trauma surgeon, but quickly developed an expertise as a hand surgeon. He noticed that approximately one third of his patients came in with Lyme disease, especially ehrlichiosis, thus his interest in the subject. He organized the 3rd European ILADS conference successful and was also speaker at the ILADS conference in Boston last year and in Klagenfurt.
